Here we have the Oak Segments which will become the Batter & Resonant Counter Hoops.

Raw Hoops
These hoops are completely machined and ready for sealing and color. The Counter Hoop has a a relief cut milled on its interior to allow free movement of the snare wires as controlled by the throw off.

Complete Hardwood Hoops
The Hoops displayed here are installed on a 14" x 6.5" x 1.5" Maple Shell which was constructed using the segment technique.
